Also known as Paseo del Padre Manjón, Paseo de los Tristes is one of the most beautiful areas of Granada and there are plenty of tapas bars. There is a large outside area where you can sit, have a drink and enjoy the amazing views of the Alhambra.
It is very close to Plaza Nueva, so just follow the Río Darro, walk along the Carrera del Darro to get there. On your way, you will pass various churches (Iglesia de San Gil y Santa Ana, Iglesia de San Pedro y San Pablo), the Bañuelo Arab Baths and a convent (Convento de Santa Catalina de Zafra).
If you want to catch the bus, then you can either catch the C31 or C34 from Gran Vía (CATEDRAL) or Plaza Nueva or the C32 from Plaza Nueva. The bus route has several stops along the Carrera del Darro: the first opposite the Bañuelo (former Arab Baths), the second is at the beginning of Paseo de los Tristes, by the Casa de las Chirimías, and the third is at the end of Paseo de los Tristes.
