BUYING YOUR CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS
You can buy your CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS from tobacconists, newspaper kiosks and on all red buses and some of the blue No. 4 buses.
For the blue No. 4 bus, you should buy your CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS from the TICKET VENDING MACHINE (if there is one at the bus stop) or from the driver (if there is not one). If you use the ticket vending machine, you can pay in cash or by credit card.
If you buy your CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS on the bus, you must pay in cash.
The CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS costs 5€, 10€ or 20€ plus a refundable fee of 2€. Subsequent top-ups are available for 5€, 10€ or 20€.
TOPPING UP YOUR CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS
You can top up your CREDIBUS CARD or BONOBUS on all red buses and some of the blue No. 4 buses (depending on whether or not there is a ticket vending machine at the bus stop). For top-ups of 5€, 10€ o 20€, the journey costs 0.87€, 0.85€, 0.83€, respectively. The CREDIBUS CARD is a good idea if you are going to use public transport several times during your time in Granada. Several people can use the same CREDIBUS CARD.
You can change the language of the ticket vending machines and these provide information about bus times and routes. You can also use them to check the balance on your CREDIBUS CARD.
BUS TICKETS
Single bus tickets can be bought on all red buses and some of blue No. 4 buses when there is not a ticket vending machine at the bus stop (see photo below). A single ticket costs 1.40€. Children under 6 travel for free.
VALIDATING YOUR TICKET OR CREDIBUS CARD FOR THE NO. 4 BUS
It is necessary to validate your ticket or credibus card for each journey on the blue No. 4 bus BEFORE you get on the bus if there is a ticket vending machine (see photo on the left) or a ticket validating machine (see above photo) at the bus stop. At all other bus stops, you can validate your ticket or CREDIBUS CARD on the bus.
FREE BUS TRANSFERS
You can change buses for free for 60 minutes either with a single ticket or the credibus card or bonobus.
