There are lots of tapas bars and restaurants in the Albaicín and going for tapas is a great way to explore the main squares (e.g. Plaza Larga, Plaza Aliatar, Mirador San Nicolás) and streets (eg. Calle Panaderos, Calle Agua, Calle Pagés) of the Albaicín. There is a good variety of food on offer and there is something to suit all tastes. It is easy to walk up to the Albaicín from Plaza Nueva. However, if you prefer, you can catch the C31 bus from the Gran Vía or Plaza Nueva.
