What bus goes from the bus station to the centre?- Bus 33 goes from the bus station to the bus stop near the cathedral on the Gran Vía.
I need to plan my route from my hotel to the conference centre. Is there an app for this?- Yes, the best app is moovit. You can enter your exact location and destination and it will plan your journey by bus and/or metro.
Do children have to pay on the bus?- Children under 6 years old can travel free on all Granada buses.
Can you buy bus tickets on all the buses?- Yes, you can buy single tickets and top up your Credibús card directly from the driver on all urban buses in Granada.
Where can I buy the Credibús card?- You can buy the Credibús card directly from the driver on any Granada local bus, as well as from select tobacconists and newspaper kiosks.
Where can I get a bus map?- You can get a bus map from the ALSA urban bus office (formerly Transportes Rober) at Acera del Darro 30, Edificio Los Montes Orientales, Local 22. The office is open Monday - Friday (8:00 - 15:00).
How much does a Credibús card cost?- The Credibús card costs the initial top-up amount (5€, 10€ or 20€) plus a refundable 2€ deposit which will be returned when you return the card in good condition.
How much does a normal bus ticket cost?- A normal single ticket costs 1.60€.
What is the price of a fare with the Credibús card?- Using a Credibús card significantly reduces the price per journey: 0.90€ for a 5€ top-up, 0.89€ for a 10€ top-up, and 0.88€ for a 20€ top-up.
My Credibús card no longer works. What should I do?- You should go to the ALSA bus office at Acera del Darro 30, Edificio Los Montes Orientales, Local 22 (phone: +34 958 220 450). The office is open Monday - Friday (8:00 - 15:00). They will replace it for free. However, if the card has been physically damaged, you will need to buy a new one.
Can a group of friends or family use the same Credibús card?- Yes. You can use one Credibús card for multiple people. You just need to tap the card on the reader once for each person.
Can I get onto the bus in a wheelchair?- Yes. All urban buses are equipped with ramps for wheelchair access.
Are there any Credibús discounts for young people or pensioners?- Yes, but discounted municipal passes are only available for people registered as Granada residents (empadronados).
Are there any bus discounts for students?- Only students officially enrolled at the University of Granada are entitled to a discounted student pass.
Can I take my dog on the bus?- You can only travel by bus if your dog is securely carried inside an approved transport case/carrier.
Can I take my cat on the bus?- Only cats in secure transport cases are allowed.
