Good things about accomodation:Really liked being on the top floor with it's nice rooftop terrace. Great views of The Alhambra.
Complaints about accomodation:Suggestions for improvements - not criticism. Supply cutting board. Sharpen knives. Spend some time going over little things. Be nice to have a few candles.
Suggestions:Kitchen supplies such as olive oil, vinegar was a nice touch.

Good things about accomodation:Great location. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Daniel Jimenez was very helpful in getting us settled into the apartment, answering questions, and making recommendations.

Good things about accomodation:Excellent location in the Albaizin just a short walk from the
Paseo de Los Triestes where there are great views
of the Alhambra and many cafes. Short 10 minute
walk to Plaza Nueva. The apt. is not large but nicely/simply
furnished and it worked fine for us-- 3 adults. Bathroom tiny but so many apts. in Spain in the older historic areas can be this way.
Suggestions:Minor suggestion: Request in advance if you need two sets of keys so everyone need not stay together all the time...

Good bars and restaurants:The Science museum is def worth a visit if you have time

Good things about accomodation:I thought the room was very clean, large, well maintained and beautiful view!
Good bars and restaurants:We had a very fun time at a gay friendly bar around the corner called "El Rincon"
Suggestions:We were met at our meeting point with no problems. The staff delivered on everything. Overall a great experience.

Good things about accomodation:Loved the location of the apartment and the views we had of the Alhambra from our room top terrace.
Complaints about accomodation:During the summer the AC unit (air conditioner) should be left on while we are strolling Granada on those hot days. Not comfortable at ALL to come to a hot apartment.
Good bars and restaurants:We popped into quite a few restaurants and we never disappointed.
Suggestions:Great stay would recommend for a family.
Granadainfo comments:With global warming it is all our responsibility to not waste energy (like having the AC on for many hours when there is nobody there)

Good things about accomodation:The Darro Apartments provided the perfect housing backdrop for our magical stay in Granada. The location is very central, the rooms very modern and chic, and the staff were always available when needed. It truly was a pleasure staying with you!
Complaints about accomodation:The only recommendation our group had was for there to be provided more than 1 set of keys if possible upon check-in.
Good bars and restaurants:Salsero Mayor -great latin dance club with THE BEST mojitos in Europe!

Good things about accomodation:The view from the apartment had to be one of the best in Granada! The Alhambra was stunning from the living room and the terrace. And the apartment is perfectly located, in the Albaizin and just 1/2 block from the river. It's very nicely furnished and clean. We were able to cook our Christmas dinner in the kitchen (5 people) and eat it at the table in the living room with the Alhambra as the backdrop. Just beautiful! I will always try to stay here if I visit Granada again.
Complaints about accomodation:Nothing significant.it would be nice if the second shower had a place to hang the nozzle so you could just stand under it and ue both hands to wash while taking a shower.
Bad experiences in Granada:Yes, unfortunately. We had arranged a previous place to stay with airBnB but when we got there, it smelled like sewage and the sheets were dirty and smelled like cigarettes, making one of the children sick. We left early but paid the owner a full night's extra rent beyond what we actually used. But the owner actually stalked us and confronted us at lunch in a public place, threatening to "come back with a few friends" if we didn't pay him the full amount of our initially planned stay, in cash, right then. He admitted that he knew it smelled like sewage but seemed to think that this was a problem with the building and therefore we shouldn't be annoyed. (This didn't address the problem with the soiled and smelly sheets.) We were truly scared and for the rest of our time in Granada, I was afraid he might find and corner one of us and get physically violent.
Granadainfo comments:With granadainfo if a place had a sewage smell you would be offered an alternative apartment of equal quality or a full refund. Any owner who threatened a guest would have his property instantly terminated and all future bookings cancelled.

Good things about accomodation:Our apartment was roomy and comfortable. It was great to have air conditioning. The location was very good, with easy access to the Alhambra.
Complaints about accomodation:Excellent apartment, with plenty of room and comfortable beds. It would be very useful to have clear instructions on the use of the washing machine - our trial and error approach was very inefficient. It would also to good to have an iron and ironing board.
Good bars and restaurants:There were plenty of places to eat in the area around Plaza Nueva, with a broad range of prices. We would recommend that visitors not rush their time at the Alhambra - enjoy the details. We arrived about 10:00 am, and did not leave until after 5:00 pm.
