Good things about accomodation:of course, the Alhambra which takes a day, but the town has also plenty of nice walkways, and a tapa to any drink you get
Complaints about accomodation:no, everything was ok

Good things about accomodation:Superb location. People very helpful. Exceptionally friendly and cheerful . Outstanding visit. Could have stayed longer.
Complaints about accomodation:Very happy
Good bars and restaurants:Bus 31. We did it twice. First to get a feel and enjoy the local humour. The second to get off at the top Plaza and walk down through the cobbled streets. The Alhambra guide was excellent and the whole organisation around our visit - very easy.
Bad experiences in Granada:Our taxi driver couldn't speak English and mistook our "stacione" to be the bus station. We ended up going on an excellent Express bus to Seville , instead of by train!! It was a good experience and the bus was better than the train'
Suggestions:Stay close by. The Plaza Noeva is an excellent location for everything.

Room or apartment: Picasso 3
Good things about accomodation:We enjoyed the apartment very much - it was spacious and the terrace was a nice surprise!
Complaints about accomodation:Please provide 2 towels to dry the dishes.
Good bars and restaurants:We adored the spanish atmosphere in typical bodegas near the Plaza Nueva.
Bad experiences in Granada:You mentioned €16,5 and €24 for two days in Parking TREX - we were charged €33.
Suggestions:Circulation/ traffic is hectic. We didn't expect such narrow streets, but explanations provided were welcome and of great help.
Granadainfo comments:You have to tell them that you are staying in these apartments to get the parking discount.

Name: Timo
From: Germany
Date of visit: 1st July 2011
Rating: Very good
Room or apartment: Picasso 2
Good things about accomodation:All in all excellent value for the price (3 for 2 nights).
Complaints about accomodation:It was missing a toaster and a water boiler for boiling tea water. At least it would be easier than boiling water on the stove. Besides this, everything was great. Great location and furnishment. Air-condition available, although the ven needs to be turned a bit more away from the bed.
Bad experiences in Granada:Credit card from American Express is seldomly accepted. Be aware that driving by car in the city center can be very difficult as the "Gran Vía" or the "Recogidas" can not be entered by cars (cameras will get you a ticket).

Complaints about accomodation:It should be noted that the hot water reservoir is not enough for 4 ppl to have shower continuously. The last person might need to use cold water for shower as hot water could not be boiled within a short length of time.
Granadainfo comments:The water will remain hot for at least 30 minutes of medium flow so that means 7.5 minutes each.

Good things about accomodation:Loved our time in Granada - we were studing at the Escuela de Montalbán, but had time to visit Dilar for horse riding, did a segway tour of Sacromonte, and visited the Alhambra.
Good bars and restaurants:Bodegas Castañeda was brilliant! Play Segway's tours always fun and the Escuela de Montalbán for spanish language lessons.
Bad experiences in Granada:No - one of the safest and most welcoming cities we've ever visited

Good things about accomodation:Loved the location of the apartment. Loved Granada and hope to return.
Complaints about accomodation:Kitchen was problematic - Very poor selection and quality of pots, pans and cutlery etc. Pointless, inaccessible cupboards in living room. No Tourist Info brochures or local tips, which would have been nice and friendly. Maybe some books/magazines, general info. Very clean though and Eric very friendly and helpful.
Good bars and restaurants:We do not eat meat and were limited on our choice of restaurants. Lebanese and Morrocan restaurants were good. Fab mint teas.

Good things about accomodation:The apartment is a block down from the entrance to El Alhambra. My son who spent a semester studying in Granada said that whoever picked these apartments did a brilliant job as the location is perfect.
Suggestions:When you park at the garages make sure you keep proof of your stay as at the apartments (receipt) - they give a discount at the garage if you can prove you stayed here.

Date of visit: 12th September 2010
Rating: Excellent
Room or apartment: Picasso 2
Good things about accomodation:it looked familiar, like home where I (and family) could cook, did the laundry, surf the web. And all worked perfectly
Complaints about accomodation:I stayed at 2nd floor with a lot of luggages to bring up. Luckily Manuel was helpful. Check-out: I was locked in the main gate with no key at hand as I already left it behind in apt.
Good bars and restaurants:As I am muslim, halal food was around: kebab stall only 5 minute walk
Bad experiences in Granada:Nobody accept 500 euro note. Only bank accepted it for changing with smaller note and only one note was accepted at a time
Suggestions:It is good to put in a piece of paper on the dos and don'ts. For instance: tap water is ok for drinking directly; or anything about the neighborhood awareness. Iron would be nice if available.
Granadainfo comments:500 notes are known as Bin Ladens in Spain.

Good things about accomodation:The apartment was beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area. It was very clean, and perfectly located close to The Alhambra and right off the main Plaza Nueva. It was also very good value for money, and our greeter was very friendly and helpful.
Complaints about accomodation:An iron and a hairdryer would be greatly appreciated.
Good bars and restaurants:Bodegas Castañeda on Plaza Nueva and Los Diamentes on Calle Navas 26, Realejo both have very helpful, friendly staff and amazing free tapas.
Granadainfo comments:There is an iron if you ask for it.

Rating: Very good
Room or apartment: Picasso 1
Good things about accomodation:Manuel and Amanda were VERY helpful and friendly! I am really, really glad they were around. the apartment was very clean and i couldn't have asked for a better place. overall, i am really pleased.
Complaints about accomodation:the internet did not work the entire time we were there. i did not like the style of the bathroom, the shower had no curtains or wall to contain the water, so the whole bathroom floor got wet after every shower. but i guess this is the style in many spanish homes. just something i, as an american, had to get used to.
Good bars and restaurants:Granada is a beautiful city. if you're up in the hills, you can expect to see the most breath taking views. the alhambra is definitely worth seeing. take the walk up there and take your time if you can.
Suggestions:dont bother renting a car. you can walk everywhere or take the bus. the people are friendly and helpful. just dont be an annoying mooching tourist. and at least TRY to speak spanish. just because you speak english doesn't mean everyone else does and if they dont understand you, then speaking louder will not help. ;)

Complaints about accomodation:Kitchen amenities were a bit lacking. For instance, only one tea cup, no plug for the sink to do dishes.
Granadainfo comments:The inventory should be checked before every stay but if there is anything lacking just call and it will be fixed.

Good things about accomodation:We loved the location, the peace, and pretty much everything about the apartment. Excellent value for money and we would stay again if we return to Granada.
Complaints about accomodation:A hair dryer would be helpful.
Good bars and restaurants:Everything we went to was excellent. We wandered around and went to bars off the main streets and these were reasonably priced and the tapas was definitely free and delicious. The Alhambra was breath taking.
Bad experiences in Granada:No. What a beautiful, clean well organised city.
Suggestions:Make sure you go to Granada!

Good things about accomodation:Very central and close to the Alhambra
Complaints about accomodation:The quilt cover provided was damp, apart from that everything was great. The lady, Blanca, who gave us the keys was very helpful.
Good bars and restaurants:We went for a hammam in the banos Santa Ana and got a relaxing massage for 30 euros. The San Nicolas mirador is definitely worth a visit too.
Suggestions:You can walk around most of Granada and if you're coming into the bus or train station there are buses that take you 5 mins away from the apartment.

Complaints about accomodation:the appartment was in a great location and really clean and a lovely interior. bianca and manuel were extrememly friendly. the only comment I would have would be that the kitchen is better equipped. a chopping board and tea towel would have been handy.

Room or apartment: Picasso 2
Good things about accomodation:Close to Alhambra and any other thing we wanted to visit in Granada.
Complaints about accomodation:Improvement could be the purchase of some basics that we missed like a microwave, internet connection etc.
Suggestions:Thank you for the nice and pleasant stay, we really enjoyed Granada and your hospitality. With a car, it was not the most ideal place because we had to park the car somewhere (20min walk) further away but the city was worth it!
Granadainfo comments:There is free WIFI in the apartment and a microwave in the kitchen.

Good things about accomodation:The location of the accommodation is fantastic - very central, close to the Alhambra and other sights as well as restaurants and bars. The apartment is small but comfortable for a couple of people during a short stay.
Complaints about accomodation:The accommodation has been nicely refurbished although with a few oversights. although a coffee maker is provided a small oven/microwave would be useful.
Good bars and restaurants:Pilar del Toro just off Plaza Nueva has a lovely internal courtyard for drinks (with free tapas) and a good restaurant. Head to Calle Caldereria Nueva for teterias and Arabic food.
Granadainfo comments:There is a microwave in the one of the top cupboards in the kitchen.

Good things about accomodation:have visited Granada more times within last months, always went for a different place to stay and Picasso apartment is one of those i would come back again. has a great location in the heart of historic Granada, however out of noisy tapas bars area. furthermore i appreciated very friendly manners of the owner and a full assistance during my stay!
Complaints about accomodation:the studio is really small, its fine for one person or a couple. anyway very clean and furnished trendy&cosy. the only thing i would claim is a longer window shade to hide the whole window..
Good bars and restaurants:a must-to-experience for me is the Baños Arabes
Suggestions:Granada is worth of seing especially in flowering spring time (Semana Santa, El Día de la Cruz). September is also lovely- make time and besides the city visit also Las Alpujarras, colourful autumn in mountains is amazing!
