Good things about accomodation:The apartment was in an excellent position and was extremely quiet, especially during the night. The kitchen was well equipped. We went to Granada as we had always wanted to visit the Alhambra and it was fantastic.
Complaints about accomodation:The bed was a bit hard for me.
Good bars and restaurants:We went to a small bar to see some Flamenco - it was excellent.
Bad experiences in Granada:My husband had his wallet stolen from a zipped trouser pocket on the packed bus going up to the Alhambra.

Good things about accomodation:Great location, quiet, well appointed given the modest price. My "excellent" rating is obviously within the context of what was offered and expected.
Complaints about accomodation:To have a few more basics in the kitchen would be a major boon for visitors - salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. (Another sharp knife wouldn't come amiss either!) You don't want to have to buy much of that sort of thing for a short stay. I'm sure that it would encourage visitors to leave left-overs of their own behind.
Bad experiences in Granada:I left the Alhambra after half an hour. Wonderful as it is, I couldn't cope with such crowds of people photographing it and each other. So I'd warn tourists who dislike the close company of other tourists en masse to wander round the Albayzin instead, especially at the busier times of the year. Much the same could be said for the cathedral area, of course.
Suggestions:If you enjoy wandering around, much of historic Granada is a pleasure. Strolling up and down the Carrera del Darro, for example, offers much in the way of immediate (buildings, people) and distant (the Alhambra high above)delight, always changing as the time of day and the light changes. And getting lost in the Albaycin (like in Venice) is the best way to enjoy it - you'll soon enough end up somewhere you know or with a useful signpost.

Complaints about accomodation:None at all!! The apartment was perfect!!! Rafa and his Wife where really nice and friendly!
Good bars and restaurants:Tapas is by far the best way to eat out! 2 euro or less for a drink and you get free tapas! which was mini pizzas, hot dogs, pastas etc... Alhambra was lovely! Go on a cool day though! Plaza Einstein was a great place to go get Tapas!
Bad experiences in Granada:Granada is Brilliant, had one of my best holidays there! i definitely want to go back, and i will def stay in Rafas apartment again!

Good bars and restaurants:Restaurants: La Corrala del Carbon ; espcially the dining room. Cunini Plaza Bib-Rambla for a fish experience. There was a small bar that we can not remember the name of but it is in Calle Veronica de la Virgin and it is front of a sea fishing tackle shop own by the same person. If you can get one o the four tables even better we never managed it in four visits.
Bad experiences in Granada:We had difficulties with changing 500 Euro notes

Good things about accomodation:The perfect apartment to explore this wonderful and charming city. It's clean, comfortable and is within walking distance to practically everything. The owners are friendly and delightful people.
Suggestions:I would strongly urge the owners to provide a hairdryer, which is a far more useful article for the traveler than, say, the iron or the coffee-maker.

Good things about accomodation:The apartment is extremely well located, well-equipped and comfortable. Granada is a beautiful and charming city and people were generally very friendly.
Complaints about accomodation:Instructions about how to use the washing machine would be helpful. However, when I couldn't figure out how to use it,Rafa very promptly came by to show me. The apartment is generally very clean but the bedspread, futon covers and dish towels could use a more thorough washing.
Suggestions:Your website is great and was very useful in helping me to plan my trip to Granada. Many thanks and keep up the good work.

Room or apartment: Apartamento de Rafa
Good things about accomodation:Rafa and his partner were polite and helpful. Their lack of English and our minimal Spanish did not cause any problems.
Complaints about accomodation:1. Move the hot water heater so that you do not bang your head on it when using the bathroom (especially at night). 2. Supply a hair dryer.
