Good things about accomodation:It was my second time staying at this apartment and I would highly recommend it as it's very good value. Very convenient and central location, busy square by day but quiet at night. Surrounded by shops and other services.
Complaints about accomodation:No complaints but the bathroom sink faucet could use an upgrade and the toilet seat was a bit loose.
Good bars and restaurants:I'd recommend the following restaurants: Los Diamantes, Bodegas Castañeda and Saint Germain. For breakfast you don't want to miss out on churros @ La Churrería or for a healthier option visit Café 4 Gatos halfway up through Albaycín (view to Alhambra!).
Bad experiences in Granada:The hop on and off bus is a bit of a let down. The recording didn't work properly so you can skip getting the headphones. One bus every 20 minutes, so expect long queues and packed buses.
Suggestions:You need to update the price of the Severo Ochoa parking: it's been increased to 56€ per week and there's a new rate of 36€ for 3 days.

I do recommend it.
Good bars and restaurants:I recommend for dinner this place:
Epiceria La Oliva, Rosario 9.
It's a very small place, only ten seats, so you need to book well in advance. It's a great (food) experience. Consider that it will take 3 hours!

Good things about accomodation:The apartment is beautifully light and airy, facing onto the lovely Plaza Bib Rambla. It is in a great location with some excellent places to eat and drink nearby and easy walking distance to the Albaicin and the Alhambra. We loved it.
Complaints about accomodation:It would be good to be able to pay by credit card rather than by cash. Also, although I had been told in advance that I needed to pay the full cost of the accomodation in cash on arrival, I don't think I had been told that I also had to pay a bond of 100 Euros. It would have been a bit annoying to have to go and extract another wad of cash, although Jose was in fact very accomodating about this. Maybe I missed something in the information provided?
Good bars and restaurants:We thought the Ermita restaurant (close to the cathedral) was excellent - great food and very friendly helpful waiters.

Good things about accomodation:Our hosts provided us with excellent, and friendly, service and proved willing to offer on the spot advice about a variety of matters.
Complaints about accomodation:We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment, with a view from the living room out over the Plaza Bib Rambla, an excellent Cafe literally next door, and easy walking distance to many of the wonderful attractions of Central Granada.
Good bars and restaurants:We recommend Cunino, around the corner for seafood, Chikito a ten minute walk for traditional local fare. Visit the Monastery of the Carthusians, a short bus ride away, for a stunning example of religious architecture from early modern Christian Spain.

Good things about accomodation:The pictures on the website don't do Arena 4 and 5 justice! The apts are in a sort of old mansion on the plaza Bib Rambla, high ceilings, mouldings, beautiful tiles on the floor, very clean, everything you need is present, very kind people and a fabulous vieuw (the plaza and you can see the snowy mountains). It was very good.
Complaints about accomodation:I would change the beds and sofa bed for a better quality ones
Airco, but this is not easy to arrange.

Complaints about accomodation:No, we realy like this apartment! And it´s fantastic that you have installeted an elevator!
Bad experiences in Granada:It´s the cost of parking a car, we paid 97 euros for 4 days parking.
Granadainfo comments:The parking we recommend in the arrival instructions with map explaining exactly how to get there would have cost you 36 euros for up to 6 nights. You can lead a horse to water.........

Good things about accomodation:Granada is interesting, beautiful and full of life. Take advantage of the tapas provided with your drinks as you’ll get an opportunity to try all sorts of Spanish dishes.
Complaints about accomodation:Accommodation was great, very central and the owners were friendly. A fantastic view of the square, comfortable rooms and plenty of space.
Good bars and restaurants:Great breakfast very close to the apartment. Come out the door and turn right, turn right at the corner and then cross the small street. You’ll see a small bar with tables outside on your right hand side (can’t remember the name). Very Spanish and very friendly. Great coffee, pure orange juice and the pan con tomate is superb.
Suggestions:The apartment is easy to get to on busses 3 and 33 from either the rail or coach station.

Complaints about accomodation:The apartment was lovely, clean, comfortable and the location, in Plaza Bib-Rambla, was excellent. We enjoyed our balcony view of the plaza with the Sierra Nevada mountains in the background. Our only suggestion is to add an indoor drying rack for clothes (it rained most days and we could not hang them outside to dry).
Good bars and restaurants:We decided to walk around Sacromonte in the daytime before deciding to go back for flamenco in the evening. This was very helpful. Getting to know the Albaicin required several visits.
Bad experiences in Granada:We had no bad experiences. We did not find the tourist information office or kiosks as helpful as we did in other cities in Andalucia.
Granadainfo comments:There is a laundry room for the use of the guests with electric driers. For the ecologically minded there places to dry your clothes on the line in the sun.

Complaints about accomodation:No, no complaints, everything went very smoothly. It was very hot in Granada, and although not absolutely necessary, A/C would have been very nice.
Bad experiences in Granada:No, no problems at all, the web pages that were linked to in the confirmation e-mail had plenty of very useful information, including the parking directions and rates.

Good things about accomodation:Well maintained apartment, neat and pleasant thank you.
Friendly host who met us and explained everything on arrival.
We really appreciated the flexibility of being able to check out a little later in the day - thank you as that makes a big difference when travelling to different places.
Good bars and restaurants:I cannot quite recall the name, but I think it was Arrayanes in the Albyzine area (if entering the Albyzine area through the main street, this restaurant is a turn to the left just before a church. They serve halaal food and good value for money.
Tasty food, inexpensive and friendly staff.
Suggestions:There is a shuttle that runs from the airport to the centre of Granada. Costs 3 euros per person one way.
The shuttle returning to the airport generally runs in the morning and on the hour from 2pm to about 8pm - best to check the actual timetable at the respective stops.

Bad experiences in Granada:My stay in Granada is a pleasant one. We were treated fair and we didn't have any problem. I consider Granada to be a safe place compared to other places we had been in Europe.
