Good things about accomodation:The house is amazing. Giant, spacious, comfortable and with well equipped kitchen. Where’s plenty of space even for a big company not to feel crowded inside. I would say the only downside that aircondition is in the common areas on the ground floor and top floor bedroom. Downstairs bedrooms don’t have aircondition. We loved the location, although it’s a bit of uphill walk any time you return. We had a minivan and parking wasn’t a big issue, but I can see how sometime it can be a bit challenging on the street.
Good bars and restaurants:The house is about 10 minutes walk from closest beach, about 5 minutes walk from supermarkets and it’s a comfortable stroll (about 20 minutes) even with kids to the old town/ castle area. Cafe and restaurants on the beach front open until very late (or should I say early). There’s a very nice beach a short drive away - La Herradura, where you can hire water sports equipment- kayaks, windsurfing, paddle boards at a very reasonable prices, as well as book a lessons or excursions. If you up for a bigger sea adventure head to Marina del Este, there you’ll find lots of offices offering all sorts of sailing and diving experiences. As well as a lot of nice restaurants. Again if you are with car an want to explore the area around you are under an hour drive from Sierra Nevada nature park with and amazing mountains scenery. And of course Granada near by. We enjoyed there very much!!!

Good things about accomodation:The house is wonderful. Very spacious, clean a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The house is on walking distance to the beach and city center, with lovely fews. The host helps with everything, if needed.
Complaints about accomodation:A bike at the house would be good.
Good bars and restaurants:Bar El Templo. At 5 min walking distance from the house. They have very good tapas. Restaurante Emiliano in the center of Almuñecar. Tipical Spanish. La Trastienda, a bar/restaurant at a nice square in the center where you can eat tipical roscas.
Bad experiences in Granada:No bad experiences at all.

Complaints about accomodation:To be brief - it was great & interesting. The house is really big, that's why for our 2 families (4 adults & 5 small kids) it was very suitable. We were able to share it like 1 floor for one family, third floor for second family, and middle floor with kitchen for together timespending. The house is located near the center of Almunecar and beach, so you don't need a car for daily needs (especially if you need beach rest only). The lot of restourants, cafe and shops are located in walking distance. The city aquapark is located in 20 minits of walking and it is quite cheap in comparison with other aquaparks of Spain. I'd especially like to note very good equipped kitchen (including american fridge with ice preparation, and drying machine as well) and terrace with barbecue. Sarah was very good hostess, she gave us a few useful advices before our arrival, and was always online when we need her help during our stay. I can confidently recommend she & her house for a long-stay in Spain.

Good things about accomodation:i can recommend the accommodation, the villa is well equipped, clean, spacious and has a terrace with a great view, and it's near the city center of Almunecar
Complaints about accomodation:no complaints at all, just a recommendation, please check the electricity, sometimes fuses jumped when putting on multiple appliances.
Good bars and restaurants:all bars i can recommend, they all serve great free tapas dishes with every ordered drinks
Granadainfo comments:The houses is limited to 5700 watts. If you whave the kettle, water heater, all AC units, hair drier all on at the same time the electricty will trip.

Good things about accomodation:This house in Almunecar is clearly wonderful. It is located next to beach and to downtown. We were able to make a lot of activities without using our car. The house is located in a wonderful region next to historical cities as Sevilla, Granada, cordoba, almeria and Malaga. The house has all the options that allowed us to pass great holidays in it as air conditioner, a lot of equipments (American fridge, three bathrooms, three toilets). The decoration of the house is very nice especially thanks to the wooden floor. It also has a terrace which is highly needed in summer to take a drink and enjoy the weather. Sarah was very nice with us, reachable during all our journey. We really felt that she did all she can to enable us to have a great trip. Triple A rate definitely !!

Good things about accomodation:Dutch -Mooi huis in een rustige buurt op wandelafstand van het centrum. Alles was perfect in orde. - Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the center. Everything was in perfect order.

Good things about accomodation:Durch die grosse Dachterasse mit Blick über Almuñécar konnten wir unseren Tag mit Frühstück im Freien beginnen und abends beim Essen ausklingen lassen. Die Küche ist sehr geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet, sodass wir überwiegend selber gekocht haben. Das Auto haben wir nur für grössere Einkäufe und Ausflüge gebraucht; alles andere konnten wir zu Fuss erledigen. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt in Almuñécar genossen. <br><br>
Through the large roof terrace with views over Almuñécar we could start our day with breakfast in the open air and end the evening with dinner. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped, so we mostly cooked ourselves. The car we needed only for larger purchases and excursions; Everything else we could do on foot. We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed our stay in Almuñécar.

Good things about accomodation:This was not like a rental accommodation at all: it was more like staying in somoene's house when they were not there. All the rooms are very big. My wife liked the kitchen which has a very good rangemaster cooker. The large dining table was very near the kitchen. which was convenient. This is a great house for a beach holiday although it does not have a swimming pool. It is very easy to get to and you can park just outside. It is near enough to the centre of Almuñecar so that you can walk to local shops and bars.

Good things about accomodation:We have been surprised by the big size of the house. It's a perfect place for a group of friends or a family. Special mention for the terrace with great view on Almunecar. All services are not far.
Good bars and restaurants:In Almunecar, we recommend Vizkaya pizzeria. You can eat on the beach in the sunset. The pubs along the beach are perfect to make parties.
