With this guided tour to the Royal Chapel and Granada Cathedral we will discover these important monuments.
We will know the historical circunstances involved on its building and t Royal Chapel: Burial place of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabel and Fernando, who chose the city of Granada to build the largest funeral chapel in the country. The interior displays beautiful Carrara marble mausoleums, as well as one of the most important ironwork in Spain and an important collection of Flemish paintings of queen Isabel.
Cathedral: The first Renaissance cathedral in Spain and the second largest cathedral in the country. Designed in the heart of Granada, it shows the world the importance of the city and the important time it was living in when it was built. Of extraordinary dimensions, the Cathedral of Granada shows an interesting round Altar completely unprecedented in the history of architecture and the most interesting collection of works by Alonso Cano, one of the most important artists from Granada and Andalusia.
