Information about the Caves:

There are 4 caves. 3 of them are perfect for couples. One of them has 3 bedrooms and can fit up to 10 people.

Location:

The caves are in the Sacromonte neighbourhood next to the Albaicín (which was the center of Granada in Arabic times).

The Sacromonte is a privileged, sunny, cave-riddled hillside at the eastern edge of Granada, above the Rio Darro and opposite the Alhambra. This area is famous for Flamenco. The streets are paved with cobblestones and the whole area is typically Andalusian with white houses and flower filled balconies. The Sacromonte is on a hill which overlooks the Alhambra: the view from almost anywhere is stunning. There is some more info about the Sacromonte on this page. The page about the Sacromonte Abbey is also interesting

La Higuera. Pleasant garden with fountain and flowers etc. Good music in the bar during the evening. This bar is fairly cheap, they don't have a very wide menu but what they do they do well. I always have "Pollo a la Riojana" when I go there. In the summer they have a barbecue and the steaks are excellent. There is a bar in front of this one which does plates of various fish with salad called the Ladrillo. Click here

Restaurante Sevilla. When you go to see the Cathedal and stroll around the Bib Rambla stop in at the Restaurante Sevilla. This is a typical Spanish restuarant with a lengthy tradition and was one of the García Lorca's favourite restaurants. Sevilla

La Porrona. Paella in Plaza Larga anyone? Click here

Los Jardines de Zoraya. Very pleasant garden. Very eclectic menu. Well worth a visit. The solomillo Zoraya is good. If you are with a group of people take them up on their special menus. Restaurant in the Albaicín
