centre of Granada.
All of
the apartments are slightly different.
The 9 apartments are in a 3 storey
building. The interior decoration is in what has come to be known as
the "con encanto" style which is usually translated as "charming".
In reality this means that there is a lot of wood and rustic
floor tiles. The location and quality is similar to other nearby places
with the con encanto style such as the Hotel Miguelettes but the price
is
much lower.
Location:
300m from Plaza
Nueva (the very
centre of Granada), the cathedral, plaza Bib Rambla, etc. It takes
about 10 minutes to
the entrance of the Alhambra on foot. Paseo
de los tristes is about
400 metres.
Facilities:
Each apartment has:
Lounge/Kitchen:
2 electric hobs, sink, extractor,
fridge, microwave, cooking utensils, crockery, knives and forks.
The apartments don't have a washing machine but there is one that you can use
in the building.
Bathroom:
Bathroom
with WC, shower, wash basin. Hot water.
Courtyard:
There is an interior glass covered courtyard which is typical
of the old arabic buildings in this area.
Heating:
There is a central heating system with radiators. Also you can
use the air-conditioning (heat pump) as a heater so you can control
the
temperature
to your personal requirements
24 hours a day. You will never be cold no matter what the weather.
Air conditioning: Each apartment has an individually controlled
air-conditioning unit.
Views of the Alhambra: None
of the apartments have particularly good view but there is a communal
rooftop terrace which has excellent views of the Alhambra. See
the photo on the left.
Parking:
The aparthotel does not have it's own parking. There is a public underground
car park about 1km away and the price is 25 euros per week. There
are nearer parking places but the price is 30 euros per day.
