Good bars and restaurants:Sierra Nevada skiing center is excellent and of course the Alhambra area.
The tapas bars were wery nice.

Good things about accomodation:Our contacts in Miranda spoke excellent English. The little village was nice.
Complaints about accomodation:The mattresses were hard.
Good bars and restaurants:We recommend the science park.
Bad experiences in Granada:The bus line between Pinos Genil and Granada was not very good. Difficult to get a taxi in Pinos Genil.

Good things about accomodation:We really did like it. Loved Granada and the skiing at Pradollano was much better than we had anticipated.
Complaints about accomodation:It would've been a help to have had a file of things to do and look out for in the area kept in the Miranda (as many apartmens do) . As well as insructions for the cooker! There was no lighter for the cooker and we never did find out how to get the cooker oven to work. The lower front door lock doesn't work reliably; not good when you have to heft skis/boots etc up the adjacent stairs...
A second set of towels and bed linen for both rooms would have been a help.
Some pics on the wall would've made it a bit more homely. BTW no-one has cleaned under the beds for a looong time!
Good bars and restaurants:We ate in Los Cazadores in Pinos 3 times. Once in Cenas when Pinos appeared shut. Small bar in Granada called Casanova was excellent with a really helpful owner.
Bad experiences in Granada:No but the underground parking at Pradollano was seriously expensive. We quickly found it was cheaper to park at the Virgien de las Nieves lifts for access. You could also park for free just outside that carpark and walk.
Suggestions:We didn't find the 'Dukesa' as its sign is hidden behind a bus stop and a large lorry. We ended up waiting at the 'Duquesa' Hotel Where Isabelle thoughfully looked for us. Something to warn your visitors!

Good things about accomodation:The Sierra Nevada was close to the apartment. We went to Aljapurra which was fascinating.
Good bars and restaurants:Jamón bars! :-) Tapas! :-) The overall insight was absolutely friendly!
