Room or apartment: Hab11 - doble - ext - ducha - 90,95€pn
Complaints about accomodation:The hotel was pleasant enough but I thought it was expensive for what it was.
Good bars and restaurants:My favourite tapas bars are Cunini in Pescaderia and la Castañeda off Elvira.
Suggestions:Your directions to the car-park in Severo Ochoa were very clear, but then we found it difficult to find the hotel from there. As we didn't have much luggage we wanted to walk. I had not brought a map with me and it took a long time to find.
Granadainfo comments:

Thank you for your suggestion we have now made a walking map and included it with the arrival instructions. Click here to see it The car park is about 650 metres walking from the hotel so for people with not much luggage it would be easier to walk.

Here is a link to the Castañeda bar mentioned in the comments.

Good things about accomodation:The hotel was perfect, we wanted a small hotel close to everything and that's what we got. It was not 5* luxury but we didn't pay for 5* luxury but what we did pay was more than fair for what we got. Would definitely go back and stay in the same hotel, but just for a few nights.
Good bars and restaurants:the hotel is close to lots of nice restaurants and bars, we never had a bad meal.
Bad experiences in Granada:Parking is a nightmare, I suggest if you find a car park, park there and walk to your hotel from there. Granada is small enough to do that easily.
Granadainfo comments:We have really good parking instructions. Maybe you didn't print them and bring them ????

Complaints about accomodation:Excellent service from the front desk. We paid a reduced rate on an interior room (i.e. no outside windows). At the standard rate I'd consider our interior room overpriced.
Good bars and restaurants:Tapas in Granada was sensational. Don't miss Bodegas Castaneda! Los Diamantes and Bar Reca on Plaza de la Trinidad. The Bar Oliver next to Cunini south-west of the Cathedral, was popular with good food and value.
Suggestions:Buy Alhambra tickets online (we did not) as apparently you can change your Nazrid Palace entry slot by refreshing the page when it displays your designated time. Get a 2:00pm afternoon ticket and maybe go and do the Generalife first as not sure that you can re-enter the main complex once you've already been in. Get an earlier Nazrid Palace visit (~3:00). Once in you can stay in there for as long as you like. Just sit down and contemplate the place. Don't come out until you are completely saturated with Nazrid. Then spend the rest of your visit watching sunset from the top of the Alcazaba. Muy Bueno.

Good things about accomodation:The room was well designed and the bed very comfortable. The roof terrace was great and the location great. Near to vibrant squares, local cafe's and away from main tourist area
Complaints about accomodation:The room had very litle space for storage and the room felt cramped. In the current exchange rate for Uk pound to Euro, it was very expensive for what te room had to offer

Complaints about accomodation:Fridge in the room would have been good (more important in summer too)Not necessarily a minibar just somewhere to keep water etc Also sun loungers/comfy chairs on the roof terrace!
Good bars and restaurants:Puerta del Carmen in plaza Carmen for upmarket tapas, great wines and good atmosphere. Huerta de Juan Ramos in Albaycin for great food and glorious views to Alhambra

Good things about accomodation:Saw a great flamenco show close to the hotel in a nice little restaurant, the shopping was wonderful and there is more history to see than can be fit in a couple days.
Good bars and restaurants:Mirador de San Nicolas, Cathedral. Cafe au Lait had a great flamenco show and good food.
Bad experiences in Granada:If you're driving, the streets can be very confusing, had a tough time navigating the downtown core and leaving the town.
Suggestions:View from the terazza was great, unfortunate there are so many cranes in the viewline of the cathedral, mountains and alhambra.

Complaints about accomodation:Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Loved Granada itself, very vibrant, fun and laid back, the people are very friendly
Good bars and restaurants:Sitting in the Bar/restaurant El Buerto de Juan Ramas with a glass of sangria overlooking the majestic Alhambra was just amazing, made my whole trip. the Navas area was fabulous for tapas and for people watching!
Bad experiences in Granada:Watch out for the gypsies, they try to push a piece of rosemary into your hand and then give you a palm reading (all the same!!) and then try and charge you 5euro, don't take the rosemary!!
Granadainfo comments:The mark Satisfactory is normally only given when there was a problem ????

Good things about accomodation:We had to leave early due to a death in the family but walking down from the popular square across from Alhambra through the Albacin in the damp weather was fabulous.
Complaints about accomodation:The room was small and the floor needs refinishing. The staff was helpful and we liked the theme of room numbering based on writing from Garcia Lorca.

Room or apartment: Hab4 BASICA € (interior - ducha/shower)
Good things about accomodation:If you like staying someplace different, a little quirky, someplace with some character and not simply a cookie cutter chain hotel, Casa Federico is a great place. The hotel is lovingly decorated and the room was very comfortable. The staff was lovely and very helpful with all my questions about how to get places on foot and what beach to go to for a day trip.
Complaints about accomodation:The seal on the shower in my room needed fixing, I swamped the bathroom every time (self cleaning bathroom?!) The mess of wires in and around the TV could be cleaned up but that's merely aesthetic. I liked the single 5' long body pillow but that's not very useful if there are two people, I would provide additional pillows.
Good bars and restaurants:Definitely go to Restaurant Oliver, just around the corner, really good seafood.
Bad experiences in Granada:None whatsoever other than the fact that I could never seem to find the panaderia/pasteleria around the corner with the yummy looking desserts open when I wanted it to be!
