Good things about accomodation:Loved the terrace. Hated the rain! Granada is a wonderful city
Complaints about accomodation:No. We loved the apartment. It does really need a kettle though! We are from Scotland and can't live without tea!
Good bars and restaurants:We loved Bodegas Castaneda. Ask for the grand plata. Great value if shared between four as we did. we also liked Cafe Lisboa, and enjoyed coffee at the bar in many other cafes.
Bad experiences in Granada:No. Everything was fine
Suggestions:Some advice in the apartment on the location of larger supermarkets would have been useful, although we did find them. The small shops locally were fine though, especially the fruit shops and bakeries. Also, it was really useful that bus no.32 which stops just outside the apartment, goes right to the Alhambra. The walk uphill is enjoyable though, and takes 20 minutes or so.

Good things about accomodation:The apartment was abolutely wonderful -- we really really enjoyed our stay there. And your instructions to not take a car up those narrow streets was "bang on" and much appreciated. The apartment was extremely accommodating, and so perfectly situated in the old city -- close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and of course, the Alhambra. We loved the view off the balcony and chuckled at the fact that we could see the snow-peaked Sierra Nevada mountains off in the distance while sweltering in the 38 degree heat in the city!!
Complaints about accomodation:No complaints at all -- it far exceeded our expectations. Your marketing and/or description of the apartment does not do it justice -- it understates the gem that it is!
Good bars and restaurants:We tried a number of the restaurants and bars in the courtyard just behind the apartment building -- they were all wonderful -- did not have a bad experience. And they were so close -- only 3-5 minutes away.
Bad experiences in Granada:None at all. We found people to be very friendly and helpful -- and they were very patient as we tried to stumble along with our broken Spanish.
Suggestions:You might consider advertising or making your clients aware of the proximity to the shops, the restaurants and the grocery stores. Everything was so handy and convenient to get to -- including the Alhambra. We did follow your advice and booked our tickets to the Alhambra in advance (online -- before we went over), and were we ever glad that we had done so -- the line-ups to purchase tickets when we got there were incredibly long. And all we had to do was go to the automated dispensing machines (no line-ups) to collect our tickets!! Thank you for the suggestion.
Granadainfo comments:We tend to undersell rather than oversell. It is much better to have clients pleasantly surprised rather than mildly dissapointed.

Good things about accomodation:Alhambra and Generalife were super. We spent two days savoring the gardens.
Complaints about accomodation:It would be very helpful to have internet access. The mattress was a bit too firm for us.

Good things about accomodation:Clean accomodation, very comfortable in an ideal location. The terrace with the view of the Sierra Nevada was a lovely surprise.
Complaints about accomodation:Would have liked a kettle and a toaster (but we managed very well without them)!!
Good bars and restaurants:We found a great restaurant at he end of Arabiel (not far from the station) called La Juliana - not touristy. Also The Plaza del Principe (minutes from the apartment) had a row of restaurants and bars and there was a supermarket about 100 yards away from us
Bad experiences in Granada:No problems and very friendly people

Good things about accomodation:The apartment is very clean and secure. Location vert good and Paqui very helpful.Bus stop directly outside takes you straight to the Alhambra.
Complaints about accomodation:For us the double bed was too hard and also the pillows were too hard.
Good bars and restaurants:The local greengrocers were very good and the shop across the road was convenient and open when others were closed.
Bad experiences in Granada:The taxi from the airport charged us 41 euros!!We were later advised that it should have been no more than 30 euros for a Sunday.
Suggestions:Agree a price with taxi driver at airport. Would advise taking a taxi from airport as the walk from the bus stop is too far with luggage.

Good things about accomodation:Overall the accommodation was very comfortable, clean and in an ideal location for us, there being myriad bars etc. within a few minutes walk and only a little further to the lively Elvira district.
Good bars and restaurants:The biggest attraction for us was the amazing number of places, each one nicer than the last ,where you get a lovely tapa served with your drink. All one has to do is turn any corner to find yet another temptation! Bodega Castaņeda, near Elvira is a fantastic typical Spanish hostelry. The sherry, ham and cheese are a taste sensation!
Suggestions:We hope to return to Jose's apartment on our next visit to Granada.

Good things about accomodation:The location of the apt was wonderful, and though a bit spartan, was a great place for us to rest in the middle of a three week trip.
Complaints about accomodation:We really enjoyed it, but I would say two pillows in the front bedroom rather than the one hard 'bolster' would be very much nicer, more comfortable.
Good bars and restaurants:The one recommended, Sue's place (Casa Lopez Cerrado) was truly a 'find' and I highly, highly recomend it; the Cesar Salad is not to be missed.
Bad experiences in Granada:No. The gyspy women in the market place were only annoying, and the taxi and bus drivers all very nice, helpful.
Suggestions:Slow down (this for Americans), talk to the local people, relax here.

Good things about accomodation:We were in the apartment for a month; it was wonderful. Fully equipped, great view, and convenient location.
Good bars and restaurants:Restaurants in the immediate area were all excellent and moderately priced. The Arab section off Plaza Nueve had some good and interesting food. WEll priced.
Suggestions:Unless one is there in the summer, cold weather clothing for mornings and evenings are essential.

Good things about accomodation:We felt at home from the very first minute. We especially enjoyed sitting enjoying the view from the terrasse to the snow-covered Sierra Nevada mountains. It is an ideal location close to the city centre and in quiet surroundings.
Complaints about accomodation:We were very satisfied with the flat. The double bed was rather hard to lie on, and it would have been nice with 2 soft pillows instead of one long and hard. The 2 other beds were very comfortable
Good bars and restaurants:Campo de Principe very close to the appartment had several nice restaurants, dining at one of many beautiful swuares in Granada is another good idea. At restaurant Ruta del Azafran at paseo los tristes with direct view to the Alhamba we had an excellent meal. The only thing we missed was to find a place to get a freshly squeezed-pressed "granada" (pomegranate) juice.
Bad experiences in Granada:We felt completely safe and at home from the very first day. We met kindness everywhere. It was a surprise that so few only spoke Spanish.
Suggestions:We came to see the Alhambra and felt in love - not just with the Alhambra, but with Granada itself. A place we would like to visit again.
