Good things about accomodation:The apartment has great views of the Alhambra, Iglesia de San Salvador, and Albayzin. We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine on the outdoor patio in the cool evening air. Maria was great help with lots of suggestions for restaurants, markets, and sights.
Besides, of course, the Alhambra, we really enjoyed the museo y iglesia de San Juan de Dios.
Good bars and restaurants:the pizza restaurant (can't remember the name) that is just below the wall at the Mirador de San Nicholas; tapas restaurant at the plaza across from San Salvador (first restaurant on the right); Cafe Pasteles in Plaza Larga

Good things about accomodation:Great place, worth visiting, small town but with lots of sightseeing, beautiful landscape. Probably the best example of old town in this region of Spain.

Good things about accomodation:We liked the environment of the appartment a lot. We experienced the Spanish atmosphere in the streets an at the Plaza Larga, were we did the shopping every day at the market and the little shops with fresh food. We liked the view at the roofterrace, the sight of the Alhambra. There was music in the streets and friendly people.
Good bars and restaurants:We liked Granada because it wass full of life, restaurants, tapas bars en flamengo places. We can recommand Le Chien Andalous for a nice flamenco show at hte price of €6,-. We made a beautiful walk in the mountains from Capileira (a 21/2 hours drive with the bus from Granada). You can walk around for 3,5 hours (8km.) with a beautifull view on the Siera Nevada. Be sure to take enough water with you.
It's easy and cheap to take the bus to the various villages around Granada.The bus service is good.
We made a nice and interesting walk in the hills at the back of the Albaicin, because of the view over the city and because of the houses of the gipsy's en the hippies in the rocks.
Bad experiences in Granada:At the Plaza Nueva at the first terrace we were overcharged at bying a cup af coffee. The waiter was not very friendly. We didn't like the atmosphere at this Plaza
Suggestions:We want to thank the owner of the appartement for her kindness and nice welcome. The appartment was very well equiped and the bed was fine.

Good things about accomodation:Estrella is a very comfortable appartement with nice furnitures and very well equipped concerning kitchen stuff. The sunny terrace is wonderful and the view to the alhambra fantastic.
It´s very calm and a good adress to to feel very well and to stay.
Complaints about accomodation:The bathroom ist very nice, but it is difficult to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. A shower-curtain would be helpful.
The first evening it was a bit cold in the apartement because the heating is a little bit small for the great room. After a few hours it was OK
The weather was excellent and we missed deck chairs.
Suggestions:Thank you very much for the good explanation how to find the appartement and were to park the car.
We are very content with your agency.
Granadainfo comments:It is fairly common in Granada to have a shower with no curtain and this complaint is common. The entire bathroom is the shower and the water goes towards the plug.

Good things about accomodation:We loved the location of the apartment, the roof terrace and the view. The apartment is well furnished and the kitchen and kitchen equipment is all of a very high standard.
Complaints about accomodation:No complaints, but the bed is very noisy (squeaks when you move!) and the toilet is not attached to the wall properly. In fact we had a leak from the toilet (which we managed to mend ourselves) probably due to the poor fixing. The bathroom is lovely, but it does get VERY wet when you use the shower.
Suggestions:Leave plenty of time for your visit to the Alhambra; make sure you visit Albaicin and Sacromonte! Take sensible shoes - the cobbles are difficult to walk on in heels!

Good things about accomodation:The apartment was beautiful, clean and well equipped, with a lovely terrace that had amazing views over the Albaicin and the Alhambra. If I go back to granada I would definitely stay there again.
Good bars and restaurants:The Alhambra was amazing, but be prepared for crowds.
Suggestions:The city is beautiful, but it is built up the sides of a steep valley, which means that much of the city requires quite a steep climb. If you don't think you could manage this then make sure to ask if the accomodation is on a hillside.

Good things about accomodation:CLEAN AIRY OPEN STUDIO WITH BEAUTIFUL TERRACE AND STUNNING VIEWS.THE OWNER MARI CARMEN WAS VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED STAYING IN THE ALBAICIN!
Good bars and restaurants:GOOD VALUE AND GOOD SERVICE IN ALL. TAPAS IN THE EVENINGS EXCELLENT.
Bad experiences in Granada:NO PROBLEMS IN GRANADA BUT PURSE STOLEN ON THE BUS FROM MALAGA AIRPORT TO THE BUS STATION - I NOW REALISE THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM.
Suggestions:THERE ARE PLENTY OF NO 31 BUSES FROM PLAZA NUEVA WHICH STOP CLOSE TO THE APARTMENT IF YOU PREFER NOT TO WALK UP THE STEEP HILL.

Good things about accomodation:We loved this nice cosy apartment, and especially the wonderful private terrace with a gorgeous romantic view of the Alhambra. It was very quiet, we woke up with the song of the birds. The owner is a nice welcoming person and was very helpful with us. The house is close to a bus stop and well located in the nicest district of Granada: the Albaicin
Complaints about accomodation:I couldn't get my own computer to connect to the wifi , but the owner was helpful so as to lend us her personal laptop.
Good bars and restaurants:1) El Mirador de Morayma, a wonderful restaurant in the Albaicin, not far from the apartment;
2) A good restaurant with a terrace where we ate after the gorgeous but tiring visit of the Alhambra, just across the entrance del Generalife, called " Jardines Alberto": a real good surprise in such a tourist spot!
Suggestions:The market and shops in Plaza Larga and Calle de Panaderios in the Albaicin allow you to buy all the necessary food to make nice breakfasts or more;
Granadainfo comments:These are links to the two restaurants mentioned Morayma Alberto
