Good things about accomodation:The location of the apartment is great and it was great to know that the owners were upstairs if I needed anything. They were lovely and extremely helpful.
Complaints about accomodation:The only thing I would suggest for improvement is shower - it's a little hard to manage.
Bad experiences in Granada:The only bad experience was one night there was a group of men who were having a party in the street nearby - it was very noisy and they kept coming back even when it sounded like they had been moved on.
Suggestions: For those visitors who don't know Granada, I suspect they would get a shock to find that there is no car access to the apartment and that it is difficult if you have heavy bags. I enjoyed my stay at this apartment and would choose it again.

Good things about accomodation:Loved the apartment, it was so nice to be able to cook meals and have the privacy of an apartment vs. a hotel. It was great that our adult daughters were able to stay in the adjoining apartment, they were next door, while we each had our own space. The terrace was an added plus, a place to dry wet clothes and sit outside to enjoy the morning tea or evening glass of vino. The location couldn't have been better, in the heart of everything happening in Granada.
Complaints about accomodation:More specific checkout procedures would be helpful (i.e., what to do with keys, when need to check out, etc.). As a side note (not really a complaint, but more of a warning) - our accommodations were up hill, on cobblestone stairs. Dragging luggage, after traveling all day in the beginning of our trip was quite a workout.

Good things about accomodation:The location was just perfect, the flat was fantastic, the washing machine was a great help and the terrace was perfect - beautifully kept with an amazing view. The steps and little street towards it made us feel like we were apart of the locals; although mind - it's quite steep with steps all the way (about 40) like anything else in granada. Just a few steps down and we were in Calle de Elvira a buzzing street wih bars, restaurants and little shops, but up in the flat it was calm and quite quiet. 5min walk to plaze nueva and the Alhambra about 15min (very steep road though!) Overall, it was just fantastic with again the best location ever. You must try the wine, cheese and ham bar and few minutes down the road towards the elvira arch - al sur de granada. A bit pricy but worth. Fav meal was at restaurante Mirador the Morayma - best veal and sizzling pork with amazing outdoor garden where you can dine with perfect views to Alhambra. Again, pricey but worth it.
Complaints about accomodation:No complaints to be made, however, there is perhaps one improvement that I'd suggest and that is the shower. The water pressure is great and it's overall fab, however, it does get the floor quite wet. We didn't really mind and it wasn't much of a hassle, but having this improved would make the stay perfect. Yet, the pros really outweight this.
Bad experiences in Granada:I did find granada expensive and know that we were charged tourist prices as I speak a bit of spanish and understood how much they charged to locals.
Suggestions:Comfortable shoes! A lot of walking is involved, up steep cobbly streets and lots of steps

Good things about accomodation: The roof terace was up 2 floors but a wonderful place to have and evening glass of wine while watching sunset!! Otherwise the apartment was beautiful. It was clean, well equipped. The owner was great, very nice.
Complaints about accomodation:One the one hand I loved staying in the apartment. On the other hand I think that it is not good to have a shower that floods the bath room floor. Even placing all the towels as a damn did not help the flooding problem. Also I do not understand why if the owner knows that the shower floods they do not provide dry towels everyday. If you are 65 and 68 like we are you had better be in really good shape to drag your (30 Kilo) bags up a lot of steps to get to the apartment.
Good bars and restaurants:I really really love the Segway people, a great tour and really a lot of fun.
Granadainfo comments:The bathroom uses a modern system which some people have not seen before. There is no shower curtain nor shower tray and all the water drains down to one hole. There is no need to dam the water with towels. Yes, there are a lot of steps. If you are very unfit or disabled it may be better to choose a place which has no steps.

Good things about accomodation:The apartment has very recently been completed refurbished and has been decorated with a modern black and white theme throughout. The bed was so comfortable it was a real struggle to get up and explore Granada! The location was fantastic, metres from all the action of Elvira and Plaza Nueva, yet tucked away in a quiet side street. The roof terrace is great, very spacious and great views over the city. You can just about make out the Alhambra to your left but if you specifically want Alhambra views from your accommodation, I would look elsewhere. Personally, I'd go back to Ruben's tomorrow!
Good bars and restaurants:Please visit the Hammam Arab baths! Such a wonderful experience. Incredibly atmospheric and romantic and right in the centre of the city.
Bad experiences in Granada:A few restaurants around the Calle Elvira area did seem a little expensive compared to other places I've eaten in Sevilla and Malaga. Just choose where you eat carefully.
