LOCATION:
The
apartments are in
the centre of Granada, just past Plaza Nueva next to the Darro
river in the Albaicín. They
are just below the Alhambra. For most people the location
is absolutely perfect, mainly because the apartments are very central
and are in a very pleasant street. Previously, people who visited
Granada could only walk past or buy picture postcards of this area,
now you can stay in it! For people who want to come to Granada to
enjoy the atmosphere, the beautiful buildings, the monuments, the
attractive terrace bars and restaurants this is ideal.

INFORMATION:
Each apartment can sleep up to five people. There
is a bedroom for two people with two single beds, and a double sofa-bed and an extra bed in the lounge.
FACILITIES:
Each standard apartment
has:
kitchen - fully equipped with fridge, cooking utensils, eating
utensils such as plates and knives and forks, either electric ceramic
hob, microwave oven, storage space, cleaning implements;
bathroom - with WC, bath/shower, bidet, hair drier, wash basin; sleeping space
for up to 5 people (2 on normal beds, 2 on sofa-bed,
1 on extra bed);
bedroom with wardrobe; lounge with table and chairs,
sofa, colour TV;
plus air conditioning; triple-glazed windows, underfloor
central heating,
hot water system for the bathroom and kitchen.
They are simply but
tastefully decorated. There is also an automatic washing machine
and irons and ironing boards that you can use. All apartments have
views onto the street.

Check-out time:
before 11.45 am in the morning
Check-in time: between 12.00 (midday) and 23.00.
On arrival the owners will
take a breakages/damage deposit in cash and you will be given
a receipt. This will be returned on leaving.
Frequently asked questions:
How far is the centre
of
Granada? It is in the centre of Granada. It takes
about 1 minute to walk to Plaza Nueva and you can walk to
the
entrance of the Alhambra in 15 minutes. There is an excellent cheap
and frequent bus service which you will find very convenient. You
don't need a car unless you want to go on day trips.
Is there a parking space?
You can
park in an underground car park which costs 35 euros per week.
It takes about 25 minutes to walk there and costs 6 euros by taxi. A map and full instructions are provided. (There is a nearer
car park but this is much more expensive and we don't recommend it.)
I
am attending a conference at the Palacio de Congresos. Is this a good
place?
It will take about
10 minutes to get to the conference centre by taxi from Plaza Nueva.
